Pat has always loved Wisconsin- from growing up in Milwaukee during the sixties and seventies to returning to Wisconsin in November 2000 and becoming the morning radio host on AM 550 WSAU. After building a loyal audience and high ratings, Pat chose to leave his radio career in 2012 to answer the calls of many friends to run for the 85th Assembly seat. Coming up short was disappointing, but as the saying goes, if one door closes another one opens. That door was the opportunity to become the Outreach Director for Congressman Sean Duffy. Pat gained invaluable experience by listening to community leaders in business and manufacturing; municipal government; the health and wellness industry; non-profit agencies, the agricultural community; and school superintendents. Pat is a member of several community organizations including United Way's Hunger Coalition and Housing and Homelessness Committee. He is an Aspirus Hospice Volunteer. He also spent time on the Schofield City Council. He is Chairman of the Children’s and Famlies Committee and was the Chair of the Speakers Task Force on Foster Care Pat met his wife Shawn while attending the University of Iowa. They have been married for 44 years. Shawn is a R.N. in the Aspirus Dialysis Unit. They have two married children and 5 grandchildren
